Designed in collaboration with the legendary Nishine Lure Works, Daiwa’s Mr. Fortune wakebait sports critical details for angling success beneath its nostalgic appearance. The unique hunch-back design and almost cartoon-like large forward-facing eyes give this bait a vintage look unlike any other wakebait on the market. What makes the Mr. Fortune unique is the attention to its out-of-this world bill shape and attention grabbing blade. Anglers will notice the protruding wing-like extensions and defined point to the end of the bill.

This one-of-a-kind shape allows this lure to crawl over and deflect off dense foliage, wood, and rock and that’s where the Mr. Fortune shines, quite literally with its mid-body blade. It’s aggressive wobble and hunting actions begin their performance with the slightest retrieve, as the bait comes over structure and accesses tight pockets it dances where other baits would have already snagged.
