An all-around rubber jig designed to trigger strikes because of the head design. It gets bites when fished along the bottom, in heavy cover, or fished through the middle of the water column.
The Bow Head Jig is an all-purpose rubber jig born from the proven success of the “Bow Head”—a highly regarded jointed jighead design. By connecting the skirted head to the hook via a split ring, the design ensures that only the head and skirt move when shaken, allowing the trailer bait to maintain a completely natural action. This configuration achieves a highly effective strike-triggering action that delivers a strong appeal while eliminating unnatural movements.
It excels not only with standard techniques like dragging along the bottom and shaking, but also proves exceptionally effective with “Jig-St”—a mid-water-column fishing that has become popular because of how well it works.
The bait’s design also allows you to fish it in heavy cover and brush without snagging. This is a highly versatile bait that works in many situations and performs well whether pitched to cover, fished with a steady retrieve, or worked with a rod shake during the retrieve.
