Shimano has been making lures for the Japanese market for years, and heard chatter a few years back about releasing them in our market. I'd seen adv in magazines, websites, etc and even seen some in tackle shops. However, me being me and hating change at times I blew them off they make fantastic rods/reels but lures? Yep, absolutely they do. I'd looked at a couple and thought $19.99-$21.99 umm, na but turn right around and drop $25 for Vision 110 or 110 JR. Boneheaded right? Don't answer, already been told plenty of times. I was in a local tackle shop with guys talking about them and was given one. Changed my jerk bait arsenal for sure. First time I threw it you could instantly tell it was a high quality bait, well made, quality hardware, and hooks. We wrecked em that day. Throwing it in the pool you can see the flash boost at work just like described. Now my boat has two trays of jerk baits with a lot being these shimanos.
