Gin and Tonic Tiger was introduced in 2016 as a new color in the POX line, mainly featuring topwater-themed items.
The color scheme is similar to the Matte Tiger: a black back, a green to yellow gradient and tiger pattern on the sides, and an orange belly. While it is an appealing color, it pursues a see-through feel and excellent water absorption, with an M (metal) hologram applied only to the lure's face to enhance flushing power.
The classic Matte Tiger performs well in low-light conditions such as dim mornings and evenings, cloudy weather, or cloudy conditions, but by rotating this Gin and Tonic Tiger, it becomes a pilot color that excels in a wider range of conditions and fields.
While Matte Tiger uses fluorescent paint everywhere except the back, which is an appealing color, Gin & Tonic Tiger only uses a slightly fluorescent orange paint on the belly, and is basically painted with clear paint.
The contrast between the black back, clear sides, and fluorescent orange on the belly creates a flickering effect in sync with lure action.
I think it's an all-purpose color that suits every season, field, or condition.
