The SG Smallmouth Bus is a venerable color used in the Pop X that debuted in 1996.
At that time, it was around the time when talk began to come out that smallmouth bass could be caught in domestic fields, and Pop X has a lineup of green × silver GG bass (large mouth bass) and brown × gold SG smallmouth bass as sister colors. This is not just an imitated color of two types of baths, but a clear concept that allows color selection according to light blue depending on the difference in tone and the intensity of flushing even though they are similar colors. While the GG bass emphasizes flushing, the SG Smallmouth Bass emphasizes water blending due to its exquisite transparency, and will be extremely powerful in fields where the tannins oozing from deposited leaves and driftwood turn into blackwater.

SG is an abbreviation for Super Ghost, and it is a color pattern developed for the purpose of making people eat with tonal changes rather than flashing. In forward light, it creates a white and vague presence, and in backlight, it is transparent, creating various tonal changes depending on the degree of light exposure. It has now been taken over under the name PM (Pearl Mica) and is still an essential color pattern in the Mega Bus color lineup.
This color is recommended for use in situations where the amount of bait fish is scarce and bass seed fish are the main bait.
