Coach Mikabi is a classic color used in Balsa Max and X-MOW, a zodiac lure in 2009.
Its catchy name is derived from the Mikahi tangerine in Mikaka-cho, Hamamatsu City, and is a local color inspired by the specialty of Hamamatsu City, where the Mega Bus headquarters is located, along with its sister color Mikabi Tiger. The coloring is based on a bright orange reminiscent of a ripe tangerine, and the coloring combines the coach dog, which is a typical pattern of old topwater plugs.
The highly visible fluorescent orange is also effective for sight fishing in shallow areas, and it is a color that can be expected to have a flickering effect that induces reaction bites.

Careful priming is performed to make the fluorescent orange color vivid, and a beautiful finish is achieved by applying multiple layers of paint. To prevent the orange color of the base from becoming monotonous, the pearl paint with a fine shine is applied to enhance the three-dimensional effect, and when combined with the distinctive coach dog pattern, it also expresses a unique presence.
This coloring is powerful not only in top water but also with various lures such as crankbaits, so please try it in the field.
