Within the polished HYPERARMED HOUSING, Daiwa’s HYPERDRIVE DESIGN components serve smooth and powerful rotation. The HYPERDRIVE DIGIGEAR provides increased gear durability and smooth power-transfer. HYPERTOUGH CLUTCH gives anglers a crisp and reliable engagement and disengagement of the free-spool cast after cast. Helping anglers cast further, the SV BOOST spool lends precise control to prevent backlash while allowing more spool freedom to achieve longer distances.
Unique to the 60th year model, a forged aluminum star drag provides durability and perfectly matches the sterling finish while the custom Zaion handle knobs finish this reel off with form and function.
